Rochester, NY: Metropolitan Hilarion celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Virgin Protection Church

On Sunday, October 18, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Virgin Protection Church in Rochester, NY. His Eminence was co-served by parish rector Archpriest Gregory Naumenko, Igumen Varsonofy (Ukranian Orthodox Church), Hieromonk Theophylact (Holy Trinity Monastery), Protodeacon Victor Lochmatow and parish Deacon Andrei Strapko. During the Little Entrance, Metropolitan Hilarion elevated Deacon Andrei to the rank of protodeacon. A crucession was held after the Liturgy, followed by a festal luncheon offered in the parish hall.
