Jordanville, NY: Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov visited Holy Trinity Monastery

On Thursday the 25th and Friday the 26th of February, Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov, accompanied by diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov, visited Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. A tour of the monastery and Holy Trinity Seminary was conducted for the honored guest. In the office of the monastery’s abbot, a meeting was held between Archimandrite Luke and Frs. Artemy and Serge. The meeting proceeded in a warm atmosphere, and in a spirit of brotherly love. On Thursday evening, Fr. Artemy held a spiritual discussion in the main seminary hall with seminarians and other denizens of the monastery. The seminarians so enjoyed talking with Fr. Artemy that they refused to let him retire, and the discussion continued into late hours of the night. The following morning, in the Church of the Optina Elders, the Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts was served; Fr. Artemy attended and prayed at the service.
