Boston, MA: Bishop Jerome led the Divine Services and the Rite of Holy Unction in the Church of the Epiphany

boston.lg.jpg (50049 bytes)On March 14, the 4th Sunday of Great Lent, the divine services in the Church of the Epiphany in Boston, MA were led by His Grace Jerome, Bishop of Manhattan. His Grace was co-served by rector Priest Victor Boldewskul and Priest Thomas Reske, as well as Protodeacons Alexander Jarostchuk and Dimitri Temidis, and Deacon Victor Ganson. The children’s choir of the Church of the Epiphany sang the Vesper service, under the direction of M.P. Jockusch. On Sunday, upon completion of the Divine Liturgy, parish choir director V.P. Roudenko was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his many years of service to the parish, and the Polychronion was intoned. During the luncheon, Protodeacon Alexander’s nameday was celebrated belatedly. Fr. Victor also congratulated Protodeacon Dimitri on having recently been elevated to the rank of protodeacon. On Sunday evening, Bishop Jerome, co-served by parish clergy and clergy visiting from neighboring parishes, performed the Sacrament of Holy Unction.
