Richmond, ME: Met. Hilarion celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Alexander Nevsky Church

rchmd.lg.jpg (65834 bytes)On Sunday, March 14, Archpriest Chad Williams, rector of St. Alexander Nevsky Church in Richmond, ME, celebrated the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. The divine services were led by the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York. His Eminence was co-served by the rector, Archpriest Ilya Gorsky (cleric of Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack, NY), Priest John Routos (ROCOR cleric), and Deacon Andrei Rudenko (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY). During the reading of the sixth hour, Reader Joseph Kimball was ordained to the rank of subdeacon, and Aaron Williams was tonsured a reader. During the Small Entrance, Metropolitan Hilarion awarded Fr. Chad the right to wear the jeweled cross, in honor of his 25 years of service to the Holy Church.
