New York City: Bishop Jerome visited St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral on the eve of the Patronal Feast Day

On Sunday, December 18, on the eve of the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, visited St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was accompanied by Archimandrite Ioann (Magramm), Senior Priest of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign Archpriest Andrei Sommer, and Hieromonk Eutychius (Dovganyuk). Bishop Jerome and the accompanying clergy co-served the All-Night Vigil with His Eminence, Archbishop Justinian, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA.

During Matins, Archbishop Justinian read the festal canon, while Bishop Jerome anointed the faithful. As reported by the official site of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, upon completion of the service, the Hierarchs congratulated worshipers with the coming feast day of the Holy Hierarch and Wonderworker Nicholas – the Heavenly patron of the cathedral.
