Bishop Jerome visited several New York parishes during the first week of Great Lent

During the first week of Great Lent, His Grace Jerome, Bishop of Manhattan, served the Great Compline with the reading of the Great Canon of St. Andrew of Crete in various churches in the New York area.

On Clean Tuesday, His Grace visited the Hermitage of Our Lady of Kursk in Mahopac with the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God. Bishop Jerome led the divine services in the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God, which is currently undergoing major renovations, co-served by rector Archpriest Victor Tseshkovsky. After the Compline, His Grace was given a tour of the ongoing reconstruction in the parish refectory.

On Clean Wednesday, Bishop Jerome visited Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack and performed the reading of the Great Canon, and on Clean Thursday, His Grace visited Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia Church in Brooklyn.
