Howell, NJ: Announcement from the Diocesan Office

Reverend fathers, dear brothers and sisters,

On Monday, March 14, our loving First Hierarch and ruling bishop, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, will undergo knee replacement surgery in Australia. God willing, His Eminence hopes to serve on Pascha, but sincerely asks for prayers on behalf of our entire diocese. We ask that all rectors commemorate our ailing First Hierarch during the Proskomedia and with a special petition during the Augmented Litany.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Hilarion, in observance of the first week of Great Lent, the diocesan office will be closed March 7-13. May the Lord’s help accompany each of us in these days of the Holy Great Lent.
