New York: The First Joint Liturgy between the Primates of ROCOR & the OCA at the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign will be held on December 10th

As reported by the official site of ROCOR, on Saturday, December 10, the feast of the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God, the festal Divine Liturgy will be concelebrated by the primates of the Orthodox Church in America and the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

His Beatitude Jonah, Metropolitan of All America & Canada, will concelebrate with His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, in the Synodal Cathedral for the first time. They will be co-served by the Right Reverend members of the ROCOR Synod of Bishops, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Archbishop Justinian of Naro-Fominsk, the vicars of the Eastern American Diocese, Bishops George of Mayfield and Jerome of Manhattan, and OCA Bishops Tikhon of Philadelphia and Michael of New York. Representatives from the Kursk Diocese and guest clergy are also expected to take part.
