First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad

Your Eminence,
Dearly beloved archpastor and father!

On behalf of the Diocesan Council, the clergy, the monastics, and all of the faithful of the Eastern American Diocese, we sincerely congratulate Your Eminence on the feast day of your heavenly patron!

On this joyous day, we share our feelings of gratitude to God, for He elected you "to feed the Church of God, which He hath purchased with His Own Blood" (Acts 20:28). Piloting our spiritual ark, you bear the burden of care and responsibility for us all.

We pray to the All-Merciful God that He send you physical strength, spiritual fortitude, and the inner courage to continue your labors as First Hierarch in your constant care for the children of the Russian Church Abroad entrusted to you, and in your ceaseless prayers unto God for them.

Eis polla eti Despota!
