Port-au-Prince, Haiti: Graduation Ceremony at the Parish School for Handicapped Children

On Thursday, September 22, a graduation ceremony was held for students of “Foyer d'Amour” a School for Handicapped Children at the Nativity of the Mother of God Church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After the great earthquake, the school took on many young men and women who were in need of special help and provided them with studies and classes in sewing, baking, and other useful skills. These special skills will help the handicapped students lead a more productive and successful life. The school, under the direction of Matushka Rose Legouté, wife of parish cleric Priest Gregoire Legouté, has been nationally recognized. Representatives of the local government and different social organizations were present for the graduation ceremony.
