Glen Cove, NY: Bishop Jerome celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin

On Sunday, April 8, the Great Feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Glen Cove, NY. His Grace was co-served by the rector, Priest Alexandre Antchoutine, parish cleric Priest Alexei Oulanov, Deacon Nathan Mousselli (cleric of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City), who was accompanying the Bishop, and Deacon Radomir Plavsic (cleric of the Serbian Orthodox Church). During the Small Entrance, with the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, Fr. Alexandre was awarded the right to wear the gold cross.

Upon completion of the Liturgy, a bountiful luncheon was held in the parish hall, followed by a gathering of the clergy and subdeacons with His Grace at the home of the rector. Bishop Jerome then departed for Holy Virgin Protection in Nyack.
