Red Bank, NJ: The Patronal Feast Day of St. Nicholas Church

On Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday the 19th of December, on the feast day of St. Nicholas, Wonderworker of Myra in Lycia, the parish of St. Nicholas Church in Red Bank, NJ, celebrated its patronal feast day. On the eve of the feast, parish rector Archpriest Serge Lukianov served the All-Night Vigil, co-served by parish clerics Protodeacon Leonid Roschko and Deacon Michael Wengrin.

The following morning, parish clergy were joined by clerics from the neighboring St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson – deputy rector Priest Serge Ledkovsky and Deacon Paul Drozdowski. Almost everyone present communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries.

Upon completion of the Liturgy, Fr. Serge greeted the guests from Jackson, thanking them for taking part in the joyous day. A festal luncheon was then offered at the local Italian restaurant "Pazzo."
