A DIRECTIVE
To All Rectors of the Eastern American Diocese

Dear in the Lord Reverend Fathers,

The Fund for Assistance to the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia has been working very closely with the Eastern American Diocese for the past several months, and has done momentous work raising money for our clergy, youth, and monastics.

Among many projects designed to assist the Diocese, last year, the FFA helped our clergymen attend the Autumnal and Winter Pastoral Conferences in Jordanville and Miami. Without this support, many would not have been able to attend these informative, brotherly gatherings. The Fund also provided financial aid for clergy wishing to purchase health insurance, paid for our youth to attend St. Herman’s Conferences and the Youth Conference in Paris last summer, organized an adopt-a-family program for our parishes in Haiti, and much more.

Now the Fund for Assistance is asking for our help. The FFA is gathering parish mailing lists in order to expand their donor base.

I hereby direct our rectors to forward their parish mailing lists of mailing and e-mail addresses to the diocesan administration, which will forward the lists to the Fund for Assistance. The mailing lists should be received no later than March 31st.
