Wayne, WV: Bishop George led the Feast Day of Sts. Peter & Paul in Holy Cross Monastery

On Wednesday the 11th and Thursday the 12th of July, on the feast day of the Holy Leaders of the Apostles Sts. Peter & Paul, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop George of Mayfield led the divine services in Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV

On Wednesday evening, Bishop George led the All-Night Vigil, co-served by monastery clerics: deputy abbot Abbot Seraphim (Voepel), dean Hieromonk Alexander (Frizzell), Hieromonk Andrew (O’Leary), Hieromonk Nektarios (Merry), and Hierodeacon Sergius (Wilson), as well as Priest Michael Furry (rector of St. Innocent of Alaska Mission in Roanoke, VA) and monastery cleric Deacon Jeremiah Davis.

The following morning, His Grace was co-served at the Divine Liturgy by all of the above-mentioned clerics, with the exception of Fr. Michael. Upon completion of the Liturgy, a bountiful festal luncheon was served in the monastery refectory.
