Miami, FL: The Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts" visited St. Vladimir Church

On Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of March, the Sunday of St. John Climacus, the myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts" visited St. Vladimir Church in Miami, FL. Parish rector Archpriest Daniel McKenzie led the All-Night Vigil and akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos, co-served by Archpriest Damian Criscella (rector of St. Nicholas & San Gennaro Mission in Sunrise, FL) and Archpriest Nicholas Bargoot (cleric of Holy Epiphany Church in Boston, MA).

The following morning, Fr. Daniel celebrated the Divine Liturgy, co-served by Fr. Nicholas. Many people communed of Christ’s Holy Mysteries from two chalices. Upon completion of the Liturgy, a moleben and akathist were served before the myrrh-streaming icon, followed by a procession around the church. Fr. Daniel sincerely thanked Sergey Fomin for bringing the holy icon to the joy of the parishioners.
