Little Falls, NJ: Archpriest Sergei Kosich has reposed in the Lord

On Friday, October 5, Archpriest Sergei Kosich, a cleric of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, passed away suddenly. He was 51 years old. Fr. Sergei was the rector of St. John the Baptist Church in Little Falls (Singac), NJ.

Archpriest Sergei Kosich was born December 22, 1960 in Novovolinsk, Ukraine. In 1990, he married Natalie Hntakow. Fr. Sergei was ordained to the diaconate by Metropolitan John of St. Petersburg & Ladoga on December 19, 1990, and on April 4, 1991, Fr. Sergei was ordained to the priesthood.

Fr. Sergei is survived by his Matushka Natalie and his daughter Katherine.

We ask all the clerics and faithful children of the Eastern American Diocese to pray for the repose of the newly departed Archpriest Sergei.

Funeral services will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Singac, NJ.

Tuesday, October 9
Liturgy for the Departed at 9:00 AM, followed by Litiya and procession.
Burial will take place at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery in Jackson, NJ.
