April 29, 2013 "The Ancient Church of
the 21st Century:" A New Film Documentary produced by the Diocesan
Media Office about the Russian Church in Orthodox America
On Friday, April 26, the Eastern American Diocesan Media
Office published "The Ancient Church of the 21st Century" – a
documentary film discussing the unique role of the Russian Church in
the future of Orthodox America. The film, which features interviews
with all three diocesan hierarchs and clergy from throughout the
Russian Church, details how the experiences of the Russian Church
Abroad culminate in the upcoming celebration of the 1025th
anniversary of the Baptism of Russia and the 75th anniversary of the
founding of St. Vladimir's Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ.
