"In the Footsteps of St. Innocent:" A Podcast Interview with Priest Peter Jackson

Priest Peter Jackson is the rector of Sts. Theodore Church in Williamsville, near Buffalo, NY. Once a Protestant missionary to South America, there he read the Holy Fathers, who led him to the True Church. This zeal for spreading the Light of Christ, alongside his knowledge of linguistics, made it possible for Fr. Peter to travel with his wife, Matushka Styliana, to Guatemala in March, where they visited the newly converted 50,000-200,000 Mayan faithful.

As of publication, he has received a blessing from Metropolitan Hilarion to assist the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) in creating a pan-Orthodox Spanish-language seminary in Guatemala to help serve the needs of the 300+ priest-less Guatemalan Orthodox parishes.

Media Office correspondent Michael Kazmierczak sat down with Fr. Peter for a podcast interview on the situation in Orthodox Guatemala. Click here to listen to the interview.
