Rocky Hill, NJ: The Parish of St. Elizabeth the New-Martyr Church celebrated its 15th Anniversary

On Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th of July, the feast day the Holy Venerable Nun Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and Barbara, the parishioners of St. Elizabeth the New-Martyr Church in Rocky Hill, NJ celebrated their patronal feast day and the 15th anniversary of the parish’s founding.

On Thursday morning, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov, co-served by parish clergy: rector Archpriest David Straut and Deacons Seraphim Komleski and Steven Barker. Also praying in church were Deacons Paul Drozdowski (cleric of St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ) and Peter Markevich (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville; Fr. David’s son-in-law).

Upon completion of the Liturgy, a short moleben was served to St. Elizabeth, and "Many Years" were intoned to the rector, clergy, and parishioners. After the service, a festal luncheon was served in the parish hall.
