Jordanville, NY: Pentecost in Holy Trinity Monastery was led by Bishop George of Mayfield

On Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of June, Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, celebrated its patronal feast – Holy Pentecost. On Saturday evening, the festal Vigil was led by His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop George of Mayfield. The following morning, His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy and Great Vespers with the reading of the kneeling prayers. The singing of the monastery choir, under the direction of Deacon Ephraim Willmarth, wonderfully adorned the festal services, to the joy of those gathered in prayer. At all of the services, which were held in the monastery’s main church, Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Hierarch was concelebrated by monastery and visiting clergy.
