Vineland, NJ: Metropolitan Hilarion Celebrates Patronal Feast Day of Holy Trinity Church

Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of June, on the great feast of Holy Pentecost, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, performed an Archpastoral visit to Vineland, NJ, where he led the patronal feast day of Holy Trinity Church.

At the festal All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy, His Eminence was co-served by rector Archpriest Liubo Milosevich, Priest Eugene Solodky (cleric of St. Andrew’s MP Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA), and clerics of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign accompanying the First Hierarch: Hieromonk Tikhon (Gayfudinov) and Deacon Dionysius Lvov.

After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Hilarion, served Great Vespers with the reading of the kneeling prayers.

Upon completion of the service, His Eminence delivered a short sermon, and congratulated the parishioners of Holy Trinity Church on the occasion of their patronal feast day. In turn, Fr. Liubo greeted the Metropolitan, expressing sincere thanks to him on behalf of the parish for his Archpastoral love and care. A bountiful luncheon was then offered in the parish hall.
