New York City: Concert by St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra to conclude "Russia Day" Festivities

On Friday, June 12, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City, concluding the "Russia Day" festivities. Russia Day marks the official independence day of the Russian Federation, and this year will be celebrated around the world.

One of the most renowned musical orchestras in the world and the oldest in Russia, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1882, and tours worldwide. Its program for this event is Tchaikovsky’s Symphony №4, and Shostakovich’s Symphony №5. The concert will begin at 8:00 PM.
