On Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of May, the great feast of Holy Pentecost, the clergy and brethren of Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV solemnly performed the festal divine services. On Friday evening and Saturday morning, they observed Pentecostal Soul Saturday, gathering at the monastery cemetery, where the abbot, Archimandrite Seraphim (Voepel), and monastic clergy served a panihida for the departed.

The festal All-Night Vigil that evening and Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning were served in the monastery church, which was beautifully and traditionally adorned with flowers, trees and greenery in honor of the feast. Upon completion of the Liturgy, the Rite of the Panagia was performed, and the brethren and faithful processed to the refectory for a festal luncheon. That evening, Great Vespers was served, with Fr. Alexander reading the Kneeling Prayers.
