On Wednesday, March 3, upon completion of the
Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, a farewell banquet and official closing of the conference were held in the parish hall of St. John the Baptist Cathedral. Farewell addresses were delivered by the Eastern American Diocesan vicar bishops, Their Graces, George of Mayfield and Jerome of Manhattan.

Upon returning from the Hillwood museum, lunch was served in the parish hall. Priest George Pavlóvich (cleric of the Diocese of Nizhny Novgorod) then delivered a lecture on "the life, labors, and teachings of St. Seraphim of Sarov as a source of inspiration for the contemporary pastor." After dinner, a litiya was served for the departed Archpastors and clergy of the diocese followed by matins, during which everybody had a chance to go to confession before Liturgy.
