NJ: The Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of
Evil Hearts" visits St. Nicholas Church
On
Saturday, October 3, the myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God
"Softener of Evil Hearts" visited St. Nicholas Church in
Millville, NJ. A moleben with an akathist was officiated by
Archimandrite Athanasy (Mastalski), co-served by parish rector Priest
Nicholas Manduke, Archpriest Stefan Hutnik, Archpriest Evgeny Solodky
and parish Deacon Jonathon Yerkes. Archpriest Liubo Milosevich,
Archpriest Anatoly Dokhvat, Deacon Serge Ohotin, and over 150 faithful
prayed during the service. After being anointed with holy myrrh, a
woman was instantly healed of her pain and paralysis that she had
suffered since a recent car accident. After the service, the icon
departed to Washington, DC, where it was greeted by His Eminence,
Metropolitan Hilarion.
