Middlebrook, VA: Greek-Slavic Festival hosted by All Saints of
North America Parish
On
Saturday, September 19, over 1,000 people attended the 3rd Annual
Greek-Slavic Festival, sponsored by the All
Saints of North America Church in Middlebrook, Virginia.
The Festival was held at the Octagonal Barn at the Frontier Culture
Museum, located in Staunton, Virginia. The Sisterhood of All Saints
spent three months preparing food for the Festival, where they served
a mixture of Greek and Russian foods and drink. The congregation
gathered in the early hours for prayer and asked for the guidance and
protection of the Holy Theotokos. Parish priests Fr. John Moses and
Fr. Gabriel Weller greeted the crowds and offered an introductory
presentation on the Orthodox faith.
