On September 22, the myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God the
"Softener of Evil Hearts," widely renowned throughout
Russia, visited the convent and nursing home located in Novo-Diveevo.
Despite the icon's many travels, her regular home is in the Moscow
suburb village of Bachurino. She began to stream myrrh in a Moscow
apartment when, in 1998, this otherwise regular image was placed on
the relics of St. Matrona of Moscow.

miraculous icon of the Mother of God the “Softener of Evil Hearts”
visited Holy Virgin Protection Church on Monday, September 21, the
great feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God. The icon was greeted
by Archpriest Ilya Gorsky and Protodeacon Serge Arlievsky at the doors
of the church, which was filled to capacity with over 200 worshipers.

Saturday, September 19, at the age of 82, Yuri I. Schidlovsky, third
president of the Fund for Assistance to the Russian Orthodox Church
Outside of Russia. Yuri dedicated his whole life to the Russian Church
Abroad and to the founding of ROCOR's Fund for Assistance. In 2007,
Yuri was awarded the Synodal Order of the Sign 2nd Class by the
ever-memorable Metropolitan Laurus.
