Palm Coast, FL: The First Liturgy was served in the new Parish Church of St. Nicholas

On Sunday, October 30, parishioners of St. Nicholas Parish in Palm Coast, FL gathered for the first Divine Liturgy in their new church. Circumstances dictated that the parish relocate to a new building which, with the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, was renovated into a bright and cozy church. Before the start of Liturgy, the rector, Priest Alexander Kazak, performed the rite of the Lesser Consecration of the church.

On Sundays and feast days, divine services will be held at the church at 10:00 AM, while evening services will be held the night before at 6:00 PM. Parishioners hope soon to found a church school for adults and children.

The church possesses several great holy objects – pieces of the relics of the following saints:
St. John of Shanghai & San Francisco
St. Hilarion (Troitsky) of Verey, the New Martyr
St. Antipas of Pergamon
St. Alexis of Carpathia
St. Job of Ugolka
St. Ludmila of Bohemia
St. Sophia of Slutsk
St. Elizabeth the Nun-Martyr
