New York
City: Bishop Jerome led the Paschal Divine Services in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign

On the night of April 14-15, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan led the Paschal divine services – Midnight Office, procession, Paschal Matins, and the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom – in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City. His Grace was co-served by Synodal Cathedral clergy.

At midnight, the procession was led by the Vicar, announcing the Paschal joy to the residents of New York City.

In accordance with tradition, His Grace read the Paschal sermon of St. John Chrysostom upon completion of Matins. After the Prayer behind the Ambo, Bishop Jerome blessed the artos, and upon completion of the service congratulated those who co-served him with Christ’s Holy Pascha.

The festal meal (rozgoviny) was then held in the cathedral hall, during which the faithful congratulated one another with the radiant feast.
