Rochester, NY: The Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts" visited Protection of the Mother of God Church

On Thursday evening, April 5, the myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts" visited Protection of the Mother of God Church in Rochester, NY. Parish rector Archpriest Gregory Naumenko led a moleben and akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos, co-served by rectors of neighboring Rochester parishes Archpriest Patrick Cowles (Holy Spirit Greek Church) and Archpriest K. James Stavrevsky (St. John the Baptist Church), as well as Priest Peter Jackson (rector of Sts. Theodore Church in Buffalo, NY), and parish Protodeacon Andrej Strapko.
