Staten Island, NY: The Rite of Holy Unction was served in the Church of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy"

On April 1, the Sunday of St. Mary of Egypt, the Sacrament of Holy Unction was held at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" in Staten Island, NY, after the Divine Liturgy. The rite of Unction was led by parish rector Archpriest George Kallaur, co-served by Priest Ilya Gun and Hiermonk Eutychius (Dovganyuk). One hundred parishioners and pilgrims partook of the Sacrament of Holy Unction.
