Metropolitan Hilarion will lead a Panihida on the 36th Anniversary of the Repose of Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky)

Tuesday, September 4 will mark the 36th anniversary of the repose of the ever-memorable Archbishop Nikon (Rklitsky), former Archbishop of Washington & Florida. In honor of the anniversary, a panihida will be served at the Archbishop’s grave in the lower church of St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ. The panihida will be led by the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York. His Eminence will be co-served by the vicar bishops of the Eastern American Diocese, Their Graces, Bishops George of Mayfield and Jerome of Manhattan, as well as clergy serving on the Diocesan Council and local clergy. After the panihida, a regular session of the Diocesan Council will convene in Howell.

Clergy are asked to bring their own blue vestments. The panihida will begin at 10:00 AM.
