Harrisonburg, VA: The First Divine Services in Holy Myrrhbearers Mission

With the blessing of the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, the first divine services were held at the newly opened Holy Myrrhbearers Mission in Harrisonburg, VA. On Friday evening, February 3, Priest Gabriel Weller served Great Vespers. The following morning, Fr. Gabriel celebrated the Divine Liturgy.

The church is currently meeting in rented space owned by Community Mennonite Church. The mission is being supported by All Saints of North America in nearby Middlebrook. Fr. Gabriel will lead most of the services with the support of Archpriest John Moses.
