An Update on the on the health of Metropolitan Hilarion

Reverend Fathers,
Dear brothers and sisters,

On Monday, February 20, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, successfully underwent knee-replacement surgery. The operation was performed in Australia.

The First Hierarch made known today that his doctors are happy with the results of the operation, and that he will soon begin physical therapy. His Eminence thanked all of his spiritual children for their concern and prayers. We ask that all rectors continue commemorating Vladyka during the divine services in churches throughout the Eastern American Diocese.
