Wayne, WV: Bishop George led the Divine Services in Holy Cross Monastery on the Feast of the Theophany

On Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19th of January, on the great feast of the Baptism of our Lord, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop George of Mayfield, led the divine services in Holy Cross Monastery. On January 18, the Eve of the feast, Bishop George led the Vespers and Liturgy service, followed by the Great Blessing of the Water. That evening, His Grace led the All-Night Vigil, and the following morning, on the very day of the feast, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and once more performed the Great Blessing of the Water. Bishop George was co-served by the monastery’s deputy abbot, Abbot Seraphim (Voepel), and monastery clergy.
