The First Anniversary of Archpriest Philip Petrovskys Repose

On Friday, June 15, on the first anniversary of the repose of Archpriest Philip Petrovsky, family and friends of the departed gathered in the lower Holy Protection Church at St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ, for a Liturgy for the Departed in Fr. Philip’s memory. His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, celebrated the Liturgy, co-served by New Jersey dean Protopresbyter Valery Lukianov, diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov, memorial church deputy rector Priest Serge Ledkovsky, Protodeacon Nicholas Olhovsky, who was accompanying His Grace, Deacon Alexander Petrovsky (Fr. Philip’s son), and parish Deacons Alexander Smida and Paul Drozdowski.

Upon completion of the Liturgy, Fr. Serge Lukianov served a panihida at Fr. Philip’s grave in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, co-served by Fr. Alexander Petrovsky. The blessing of the tombstone was then performed.
