Atlanta, GA: The
Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts"
visited St. Mary of Egypt Church
On Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd of
March, the myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God "Softener of
Evil Hearts" visited the capital of the state of Georgia. On
Thursday night, the icon arrived at
St.
Mary of Egypt Church in Atlanta. On Friday night, clerics of St.
Mary of Egypt Church and the Church of our Lady "Joy of All Who
Sorrow" served a moleben and akathist before the wonderworking icon.
Vladimir Church in Miami, FL. Parish rector Archpriest John Townsend
was co-served by Archpriest Alexis Duncan, Archpriest Steven Ritter,
Priest Alexander Lisnichuk, Priest Eugene Antonov, Deacon John
Hanson, and Deacon Anthony Kuznetsoff.
