Boston, MA: Bishop Jerome led the Sacrament of Holy Unction in Holy Epiphany Church

On March 18, the Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, performed an archpastoral visit to Holy Epiphany Church in Boston, MA. On Saturday night, the Vigil concluded with the Bringing out of the Cross. The following morning, His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy, co-served by parish clergy. A multitude of the faithful was communed from three chalices. After the Liturgy, the clergy and faithful gathered together for a luncheon in the parish hall.

On Sunday evening, clergy from local parishes joined Bishop Jerome and parish clergy for the Holy Unction service. Prior to the Unction service, with the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, Bishop Jerome elevated Priest Brendan Crowley (rector of St. Nicholas Church in Springfield, MA) to the rank of archpriest. After the Unction service, the clergy gathered for a light dinner and fellowship.
