Nyack, NY: The Diocesan Assembly began at Holy Virgin Protection Church

On Wednesday, October 10, 130 clergy and delegates from across the Eastern American Diocese gathered at Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack, NY for the official start of the Eastern American Diocesan Assembly. At 1:00 PM in the hall, diocesan secretary Archpriest Serge Lukianov served a moleben before the beginning of any good work. Praying at the moleben were the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, as well as Their Graces, diocesan vicar Bishops George of Mayfield and Jerome of Manhattan, and members of the diocesan clergy.

After the moleben and conference opening, Metropolitan Hilarion delivered the State of the Diocese Address.
