Flushing, NY: Metropolitan Hilarion led the Patronal Feast of Holy Annunciation Church

On Sunday, April 7, on the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Holy Annunciation Church in Flushing, NY, on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast day.

At the Liturgy, His Eminence was co-served by Archimandrite Maximos (Weimar; abbot of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross in East Setauket, NY), acting rector Priest Alexandre Antchoutine, Hieromonk Silouan (Justiniano; cleric of Holy Cross Brotherhood), Protodeacon Nicholas Mokhoff (cleric of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City), parish Deacon Serguei Mikhailov, and Deacon Serge Ohotin (cleric of Holy Trinity Church in Vineland, NJ and son of the former rector, the ever-memorable Archpriest Alexey Ohotin).

Upon completion of the service, a bountiful festal luncheon was offered in the parish hall.
