Boston, MA: Bishop Jerome led the divine services in Holy Epiphany Church

On Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of April, His Grace, Eastern American Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Epiphany Church in Boston, MA, and led the divine services.

On Saturday evening, His Grace led the All-Night Vigil, and the following morning morning celebrated the Divine Liturgy, co-served by parish clergy: rector Archpriest Victor Boldewskul, Priest Thomas Reske, Protodeacon Alexander Jarostchuk, and Deacon Victor Ganson. The Liturgy went well and smoothly, with a packed church. Bishop Jerome delivered two sermons: in Russian, on the theme "Why does the Church rejoice in Her catechumens?"; in English, on the theme "The two sons of Abraham."

After the Liturgy, a Lenten luncheon was served by the sisterhood, and His Grace then visited St. John the Wonderworker parish in nearby Framingham to oversee the annual parish meeting there.

After the parish meeting, Bishop Jerome returned to Holy Epiphany Church to lead the Rite of Holy Unction, co-served by five priests and three deacons. The service was well-attended, and was followed by a dinner for those in attendance.

On Monday morning, having thanked the Bostonian flock for their love and hospitality, His Grace departed for New York City.
