Moscow: Bishop Jerome Concelebrated the Sunday Divine Liturgy at St.
Nicholas Church in Kuznetsy
On
Sunday, February 3, the feast day of St. Maximus the Confessor, the
Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Nicholas Church in Moscow’s
Kuznetskaya Sloboda, led by His Eminence Michael, Archbishop of
Geneva & Western Europe, along with His Grace, Eastern American
Diocesan vicar Bishop Jerome of Manhattan. They were joined by
Archpriest Vladimir Vorobiev, rector of St Tikhon’s Orthodox
University, along with other priests and clergymen of the church.
At the end of the service, Fr. Vladimir thanked Archbishop Michael
and Bishop Jerome for taking time out of their schedule as
participants of the Council of Bishops to celebrate the Divine
Liturgy at the University church. "The Hierarchal service represents
the fullness of the grace of the Church. Today we sense the fullness
and joy of being one in the Spirit. A life in Christ is a life in
unity, a life in love, a pure and clear life. It is this that we
feel today," stressed the St. Tikhon’s rector.
