Pennsylvania: A Joint Liturgy was held at Round Hill Park

On June 16, the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, a joint Divine Liturgy and picnic of parishes of the Church Abroad in Western Pennsylvania took place at Round Hill Park. This year, for the first time, the rectors of three parishes in the greater Pittsburgh area gathered together at this location: Archpriest Stephan Romanchak (Holy Trinity Church in California) and Priests Dionysi Vitali (St. Basil the Great Church in Belle Vernon) and Dimitri Ermakov (Holy Dormition Church in McKeesport).

A joint choir of the three parishes sang under the direction of Reader Matthew Romanchak. After the Liturgy, a picnic was served, and parishioners were able to enjoy each other’s company and stroll through the park.
