Jose’s Life
Friday, October 31 marks the 17th
anniversary of the martyrdom of Brother Jose Muñoz-Cortes,
guardian of the myrrh-streaming Iveron-Montreal Icon of the Mother
of God. In honor this anniversary, the Media Office of the Eastern
American Diocese has released a photomontage chronicling Brother
Jose’s life. These photographs were collected over the years and
housed in the personal archives of Archpriest Victor Potapov, rector
of St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC.
