Synodal Cathedral
On Sunday, November 15, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan, vicar of the
Eastern American Diocese, celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal
Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.
A mixed choir of 40 singers performed the Liturgy of St. John
Chrysostom by P.I. Tchaikovsky, under the direction of Peter Fekula.

Haiti: Priest Gregoire Legouté reposed in the Lord
On Tuesday, November
17, Priest Gregoire Legouté, cleric of the Haitian Mission of the
Eastern American Diocese, reposed in the Lord. He was 53 years old.
He is survived by his Matushka Rose, and
their two daughters, Anastasia and Chrissy.

Canada, the annual Saint Herman Youth Conference will be hosted by

Washington to the Diasporan Lavra:" St. John the Baptist Parish’s
Pilgrimage to Jordanville
The
trip entered the history of our parish community as the 17th annual
pilgrimage to the "Lavra"
of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. The purpose of the
pilgrimage was to pray at the grave of Brother Jose Muñoz-Cortes,
custodian of the myrrh-streaming Montreal-Iveron Icon of the Mother
of God, who was murdered in Athens in 1997.
