New York City: Metropolitan Hilarion leads Hierarchal Liturgy in
Synodal Cathedral

July 10, the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Hilarion of
Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church
Abroad, celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the
Sign in New York City. His Eminence was co-served by Bishop Nicholas
of Salavat & Kumertau and Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan (vicar of the
Eastern American Diocese), as well as Archpriests Vasiliy Raskovskiy
(cathedral cleric) and Alexandre Antchoutine (dean of Long Island &
the Hudson Valley), Hieromonks Eutychius (Dovganyuk; cathedral
cleric) and Yeliferiy (Skiba; cleric of the Church of our Lady "The
Inexhaustible Chalice" in Brooklyn, NY), cathedral Protodeacons
Nicolas Mokhoff, Vadim Gan, Nathan Mousselli, and Dionysius Lvov,
and visiting clergy.
Upon completion of the service, Metropolitan Hilarion greeted Bishop
Nicholas of Salavat & Kumertau, currently visiting Orthodox America
from Russia. Bishop Nicholas, in turn, addressed the faithful
gathered in the cathedral for the Sunday services with a sermon.
After Liturgy, the sisterhood held the traditional luncheon for
clergy and parishioners in the cathedral hall.
