New York City: Feast of Holy Pentecost celebrated in Synodal Cathedral

On Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of June, divine services were held in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City in honor of the great feast of Holy Pentecost (Trinity Sunday). The Divine Liturgy in the cathedral was served in the presence of the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God by cathedral senior priest Archpriest Andrei Sommer, Priest Vitaliy Lalyukov, and Protodeacons Nicholas Mokhoff and Vadim Gan.

In accordance with tradition, the cathedral sisterhood and brotherhood adorned the cathedral with trees, branches, and flowers. Upon completion of the Liturgy, Fr. Andrei addressed the faithful with a sermon on the feast.

The cathedral sisterhood held a festal luncheon in the cathedral hall for the clergy and faithful.
