Metropolitan Hilarion's Directive № 08.63.15 on the Convocation of the 2015 Diocesan Assembly

St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral – 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell, NJ 07731

When

October 26-28, 2015. The Assembly officially begins on Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00 AM; Monday, October 26th is designated as a travel day – Greeting of the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God will be held at 6:00 PM, followed by an akathist in the Cathedral. The Assembly will officially come to a close upon completion of the Divine Liturgy on Wednesday, October 28th.

Cost

Registration cost for all three days is $125 per person; tickets are $100 for delegates who only wish to attend the Assembly for the Tuesday session. Neither ticket includes lodging accommodations.

Who can attend

Clergy (deacons and priests) and lay delegates of the Eastern American Diocese ROCOR. Detailed information regarding the requirements for delegates can be found in Directive № 08.63.15. Non-diocesan clergy who wish to participate in the divine services should contact the diocesan office at (732) 961-1917 or eadiocese@gmail.com to inquire about attending.

Airport

Those who wish to fly to New York must fly to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and send their flight information to eadiocese@gmail.com in order to arrange for pick-up and drop-off.

Services

All clergy will serve at the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in St. Alexander Nevsky Diocesan Cathedral on Wednesday, October 28th – 8:00 AM Hours & Vesting, 9:00 AM greeting of the Metropolitan, followed by Liturgy. Clergy are asked to bring their own gold vestments.
