Jordanville, NY: St. Elizabeth Skete installs New Iconostasis

St. Elizabeth Women’s Skete in Jordanville, NY received its new wooden iconostasis from Russia, and was able to install it in time for the feast of St. Nicholas. The beautiful iconostasis was hand-carved for the convent in Russia by master carver Andrey Vukolov and his Abramtsevsky Workshop.

Spring Valley, NY: Otrada Society hosts Gingerbread Fair

On Sunday, December 13, Otrada Society in Spring Valley, NY, hosted a Gingerbread Fair, where children were able to decorate gingerbread houses. In the wonderfully adorned hall, prefabricated gingerbread houses awaited the children, whose eyes lit up when they began to decorate them with multicolored candies.
