To the Father Rectors of Churches of the Eastern American Diocese
Dear in
the Lord Father Rectors!
As in previous years, together
with the organizers of the St. Herman’s Youth Conference, I appeal
to all of you to assist as much as you can in the God-pleasing work
of spiritually educating the youth of our ROCOR. A plate collection
is to be taken on the nearest Sunday to help fund the forthcoming
St. Herman’s Youth Conference, which will take place this year at
Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, New York.
The St. Herman’s Youth
Conferences give our youth the unique opportunity to gather
together, become acquainted with one another and at the same time
participate in the lectures and talks of a purely Orthodox Christian
nature.
We earnestly entreat all the
Father Rectors to inform their young people of the forthcoming St.
Herman’s Youth Conference and strongly encourage their
participation in the conference.
